Lucky

Lucky appears to be a Maine Coon mix.  He has the long hair and the markings but not the size.  He is handsome to be sure.  A brown tabby with white, he has the circles on his sides and his face is nicely marked.  He will require lots of brushing but he also does a good job of taking care of himself too.
Lucky was at the animal shelter when I went to pick up a dog.   We are working hard at keeping the number of cats in our foster homes low so my intent was never to pull a cat, but as  I walked by him I could not help but notice that he was not just good looking but regal and friendly.  So, say HI to Lucky because he is one lucky dude!
Lucky is curious but not so much that he causes trouble, he has great cat and doggy social skills.  He is friendly with the other animals but not needy, he can be playful sometimes but not like a kitten.  He is just a great all around cat.  He enjoys human companionship such as play time and lap time and brush time.  He is really easy to live with.  He has been good about scratching only the cat posts too.
Lucky would do well in most home situations.  I’m not sure about young chlidren and he is not keen on puppies but most cats aren’t.
