A timid little guy, Gobble is a cuter than cute black with white Border Collie mix.  He may also have some aussie in him since he has the short tail but he does look like a Border Collie.  Clearly, at some point in his short life he has been mis-used.  I say this because he almost winces when we go to reach for him.  He is sweet though and he is coming around.  Once he is out of his shell he will be a really nice dog.
Gobbles was named at the shelter as it was close to, you guessed it, the Thanksgiving Holiday!  It’s cute so we kept it and we have never had a dog named Gobbles before.  But whoever adopts him will surely rename him!
Gobbles is great with cats, dogs and I would think children too.  Smaller children might scare him but maybe not – he is not around them now so I don’t know.  He is not a fear biter, he just winces.  He appears to be housetrained but I’m not sure.  I take him outside a lot.  Gobbles will be medium when full grown.  At six months of age he weighs just thirty pounds and he has a slim build.  He also has short hair and his feet look like they have been dipped in white paint.  He is quite handsome.

Gobbles is available for adoption.  If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment.  Click here for adoption application.
