Trina is a small female Chihuahua. Weighing just 6 pounds, Trina is cream with white, has big brown eyes and is loyal to her owner. She landed in an animal shelter as a stray. Terrified by her surroundings, no one could get near her. One of our volunteers went to the shelter and spent the better part of a Saturday morning winning her trust, but once one, she is his little protector! She will even growl if someone else does something to him that she does not like! What a little stinker.
Trina is fine with other dogs and cats. She is housetrained. She enjoys sleeping in bed with us at night snuggled deep down under the covers. Trina is a bit on the nervous side but that is because she is still a bit scared and we did take her in to be spayed and then micro chipped — all things that are important but scarry or hurtful for her. Poor thing.
Trina will be going to a new foster home where she can hang with teen-age girls and a couple other chichis’s! I am willing to be she will be Top Dog in no time!
Trina is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application.
