Babe is a well mannered three year old female mixed breed.
She weighs in at 40 pounds but could stand to put a few pounds on.
Babe is sweet natured, great with other dogs as well as cats. She has excellent house manners and is compeltely housetrained. This is what we call an easy move in foster dog because it is as if they have always lived in our home!
We get asked so often, why is this dog in rescue? What did it do wrong?
While I do not have hard statistics to support my opinion, I do have a couple decades of being involved in rescue and from my experience I can honestly say that the vast majority of the time the dog did absolutely nothing wrong.
In Babe’s case her owner died. Death happens. Expected or unexpected, it is part of life.
This is what happened to Babe’s owner – he died leaving behind Babe.
Babe came with the name, knows it and we didn’t see any reason to change it.
She shares a home with two obnoxious cats and an elderly dog.
Her foster parents work full time. She has free run of the kitchen while they are at work. When they are home she has full run of the house.
Babe is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application
