A dear little thing, Mega currently weighs in at five pounds. It is hard to say how much bigger she may or may not grow.
Mega is fine with other dogs but once cuddled in a lap does not deem it necessary to share!
While Mega is fine with other dogs she would do best in a home with smaller dogs. Why? Because she has that chichi body type that is thin, especially her legs. She could break a bone easily. She should not be jumping off the backs of couches, etc. either.
Mega loves rawhides and small stuffed toys. She also loves to curl up in a laundry basket with clothes in it!
I’m not sure how she will do with small children but it would be best if she was not living with them 24/7 simply because she is so small. I think though she would enjoy visiting children.
Mega would love, I hate to say this, to be a purse pocket chichi. She just has that personality.
She loves to roll around the grass and does enjoy being outside.
Mega does appear to be housetrained but keeping an eye on her for a few days to be sure would be good. She has been really good here but maybe I let her out a lot. I don’t know.
Mega sleeps in a crate at night time and is super quiet and well behaved.

Vina is a Border Collie.
Vina, prounounced, Vee-Nah, needs someone who can see beyond her beauty, understand she is a Border Collie and be fully prepared to work with her.
Vina has some fantastic traits: she always comes when called, she stays with us 95% of the time with us simply needing to call her the remaining %5 percent. If there is a dog who is trained she will stay with is and learn from it: she is completely housetrained and sleeps on the floor of our bedroom at nighttime. She does not fetch and tries to herd.
Vina has some traits that need enriching: her attention span – it’s getting better but it’s rather short for a Border Collie. Crate training is in process but again she needs work on this for she wants to bark. Playing with other dogs: again, she is much better since coming into our home but she needs to continue to have at least play time with other dogs. Once playing she loves to play catch the dog and tug with a toy. She enjoys getting into the doggy pool and running through the dirt resulting in her white feet being not so white.
Vina is great at off leash walks in the woods and does fairly well with on leash walks. She knows sit and off and is working on down.
Vina would NOT do well left alone for 8 hour plus days. She is a Border Collie. A calm one but still a Border Collie.
Vina would be perfect for a person who can either have a dog at work with them, has their own shop and she can go with or a person who makes a living working out of doors and can have a dog with them.
Vina has been excellent with people. She is good with cats but at times wants to chase them.
BIRDS — Vina should not be in a home if there are pet birds that like to get out of their cage. I finally have her at the point where she is not bothering the bird cages but ….. if a bird were to get out I have no doubt she will try to ‘catch’ it. Not good for the bird.
Vina would do best in a home with children over 12 years old. Why? She is a Border Collie and they are known for wanting to keep the smaller ones ‘all together’ by whatever means she can. When the little one’s won’t follow a Border Collie’s lead then the Border Collie does what they do with sheep – nip the heels. I’m not saying Vina has done this, she has not that we are aware of. But, let’s not give her the chance!
So, that is a lot of information about this dog! And can you tell I think Border Collie’s are swell? If I had not just adopted Lucy (was Morgana) I would keep Vina. But, I have one Border Collie puppy and that is enough!

This boy is all fluff and a ball of energy! He loves to rough and tumble with other dogs as well as race around the yard. He is super playful and can be too exuberant at times.
He is like this with his food too. We have been working with him on ‘slowing down’ when he eats and not being so concerned when other dogs walk by his food bowl. He is so much better. But because of his eating habits he should not be in a home with small children if there is another dog in the household. He has never bitten another dog nor, of course, a person, but he can put on quite a show leading one to think he might do more than rumble. Take the food away and he is all love and fluff and everyone is his friend.
Chester is a fun dog. And he is a great size.
Chester was called Checkers but I kept calling him Chester so I changed his name. The name Checkers just wasn’t working for us.
Chester is housetrained and behaves fairly well in the house. He has not been given free, unwatched run of the house.
Chester does not bark much at all. He digs on occassion but is not a devoted digger.
Chester is quite bouncy. He would make a great Tigger!
This boy would certainly benefit from participation in a dog obedience class. He also would do best in a fenced in yard, though I admit, when he has been loose he has not run off and has either come when called or gone to the door. However, all that aside, he and his owners would be much happier with a fenced in yard for him to do his Tigger-bounces in.
Rosie does well with all other dogs and while curious about the house cat, Rosie has been fine with her.
Rosie loves to run and play with other dogs in our fenced in yard. And when inside, she has been fairly well behaved. However, she is an eight month old puppy so right now she either needs a watchful human eye on her or to be in her crate.
She is crate trained and does well in her crate. So far, she appears housetrained too. At least she has not had an accident yet.
Rosie would do well in dog obedience training and would be a great companion dog. She has a lot of potential. Rosie is observant and does have an attention span.
He can play with the big dogs as well as the small dogs. He loves toys of all kinds and rawhides and his dish of dog food.
Duke enjoys being in laps or cuddling in bed with us. He is really sweet and has those chichi ways that melt the heart.
Duke is actually well mannered and housetrained. And he makes a great little guard dog too. He will bark when strangers are at the door or at noises that indicate a stranger may be afoot.
A delightful little dog, this boy is a sure winner for just about any household. He has enjoyed the children he has met but he does not live with any full time. He would do well with children that are in that 7 year old up and category. He would be ideal for a pre-teen or a teen ageer to pair up and participate in some dog obedience. This boy would rock at agility!
Duke would do well with a fenced in yard and another doggy buddy to play with. He is crate trained and never barks when in his crate. He spends his afternoons playing with pups much bigger than he: Molly the Great Dane pup and Lucy the Border collie pup.

Robin is just a year old. She landed in a local animal shelter as a stray. The shelter employees were fond of her but in a shelter situation, special needs dogs can present their own unique challenge. Robin had a large cherry eye. The shelter asked us to take her because they knew we would pay our vet to fix the eye before she was adopted out. Our vet fixed her eye when she was spayed. Her eye looks great and no after care is needed. She is good to go!

Robin is great with other dogs, with cats and loves people.
She is crate trained and housetrained.

Robin would be a delightful addition to most any home.
If there are children in the home then a fenced in yard is required.
No children and adults who have time to leash walk, then she would do fine.

Robin loves to play with toys of all kinds, chew rawhides and fetch balls.

Jessy loves to play with other dogs, chase the cat and climb into a lap.
She is a dominate little girl and sometimes does not mind her manners when it comes to sharing her dog food dish with another dog. She takes correction easily so this is just a matter of working with her.

Jessy would excell in a dog obedience class. She would do best with a fenced in yard as she loves to move. She is very playful and will bring a lot of joy to some lucky family. She would also be great for a teen-ager to train in dog obedience. She is a good size for that.
