It was a busy week for us with the Daylight program!
TUESDAY: June 28, 2010:
Tuesday was puppy day.
On Tuesday we took the puppies.  I thought it would be just the little black puppies but then Shanin joined me with the doxie trio and a CAT!   She didn’t know we would be outside .. not that the cat could get out of the fence anyway as it is incredibly secure – being a state prison and all.

And have an afternoon of great fun!
Yesterday I took Terra, Schultzy, Drake, Ivy Rose, Morgan Claire to the youth state prison for our Daylight program.  What a crew!

First, it was hard to get them all in my car but we did it, and then the drive was not bad.  I had the air up pretty high so they were comfortable.  When I arrived, staff and inmates were waiting for me.  They called inmates even though I call them kids.
