On Sunday, September 5th, PetsConnect! volunteers and foster animals participated in the Michiana Celtic Festival at Howard Park, South Bend, IN.  Several us arrived bright and early to set up our canopy, puppy pens, dogs crates, and other needed items.  We were lucky to be able to keep our PetsConnect! trailer right by our set up so we could quickly grab what we needed!   Set up didn’t take long but then there seems to be this time we …

Raven’s pups are now 15 weeks old and are getting big!
Waaku weighs in at close to 30lbs.  He is very sweet and enjoys playing in the backyard.  Due to the black muzzle, he has a very sad little face…but don’t let that fool you, he’s very happy!
Bangle weighs in at close to 30lbs.  He and Waaku look identical except for the black mask – Bangle doesn’t have it.  He is also a sweet pup that enjoys playing in the backyard and jumping in and out of the doggie pool!  This guy has no problem getting …

On August 7th, several of us met at this spectacular private residence with a waterfall and  landscaped gardens that stretched out to the lake!  It was a hot day but Elias knows how to stay cool!  And he adores the water too. 
He and Kalamazoo were quite the buddies, inspecting the property  and being very adventurous.  They had such a great time .. and indeed slept most of the rest of the afternoon too.

On August 6th several PetsConnect! foster animals strutted their stuff for the DTSB First Friday Dog Days of  Summer Fashion Show!  And yes, that is quite a mouthful of a title even with the acronym for Downtown South Bend.
The fashion show was just one part of a wider event which encompassed all of downtown South Bend.  To learn more click here!
The fashion show took place on the gridiron in front of the Hall of Fame.  While our favorite four legged friends modeled their doggy outfits, their favorite people modeled clothing …

August 6th, 5pm to 9pm
The weather cooperated, the people came, the dogs behaved and we all had a great time!
