Michiana Celtic Festival 2010

Reflections of Michiana Celtic Festival 2010
Point of View From a PetsConnect! Volunteer’s

On Sunday, September 5th, PetsConnect! volunteers and foster animals participated in the Michiana Celtic Festival at Howard Park, South Bend, IN.  Several us arrived bright and early to set up our canopy, puppy pens, dogs crates, and other needed items.  We were lucky to be able to keep our PetsConnect! trailer right by our set up so we could quickly grab what we needed!   Set up didn’t take long but then there seems to be this time we …

Clarence: A story to tell

Clarence
Male, neutered
Year old Beagle mix
Great with everything
Lacking in the IQ department or so it seems at times
Loves to chew
Doesn’t bark often but when he does .. it is loud
Clarence…. you have have heard this name before.

Delta Dawn

Delta Dawn, what’s that flower you have on
Could it be a faded rose from days gone by
And did I hear you say he was a-meeting you here today

Delta is long in the body, has large upright ears and intense brown eyes.  Her legs are tan.  She is dominant but has done well with other …

Bath Day for Madison

Madison got a bath today – while she didn’t seem to like it much after an attempt or two trying to escape from the sink she quickly settled.
After her bath and towel dry she ran around the house for the next 10 minutes furiously shaking.
Madison continues to be a wonderful dog.  She is super sweet and laid back – while she loves a short walk she spends her time inside cuddled up with you.  She is great in the house, on walks, with company and even having her toenails trimmed.
See the …

Peabody

A long haired doxie, Peabody comes to us painfully thin and will need to put on some weight before we can have him neutered.  We expect him to be ready for adoption mid-September.  So, for now, enjoy some photos!
Peabody is a liver and white long coat and he is adorable.  He is fine with dogs and cats and at this point is pretty low key, however, once he is up to snuff health wise we would expect him to behave more energetic like any good doxie.
Peabody landed in the shelter …
