On February 27th PetsConnect! held a Puppy Palooza at the PetSmart Store in Mishawaka!
We featured litters of puppies:  Noel’s puppies, Dottie’s puppies, Indiana’s puppies, Molly’s last puppy Mona, and an assortment of single puppies.
We had close to 30 puppies at the adoption event!
Why so many puppies?
Well, this is what happens: a shelter calls us and asks if we can take a pregnant dog.  Sure we say.  And then another pregnant dog.  Oh, why not, we say.  And then a mom with there puppies … um, ok, mom in one foster …

This handsome young man goes by the name of Marley.  He is the only male in his foster home of 9 dogs/puppies!  Some guys might get intimidated by all those females, but not this little charmer!  He had them all loving him the first night he arrived!
Marley is not only handsome, but he’s also smart!  For example, what does he do when he gets cold?  He lies under a blanket!  His foster mom even caught it on camera because it was just so darn cute!

Stunning deep brown with melt your heart brown eyes, Tinker is as sweet as a Hershey Bar!
Shee is almost three months in this photo taken yesterday, February 18th, 2010.  She is on a blanket in the dining room.  You can see the body of one of her siblings behind her.  There are actually several puppies piled in and around .. getting ready for nap time or puppy pile time or take the rawhide away from  one another time!

Skip Along Sam
Here is Sam – and he is certainly mis-behaving! He has gone up the stairs and climbed on top of Katie’s crate (which, by the way, she hates for him to do) and on top of that he is on the cat scratcher which Chubbs hates for him to be on!  What a naughty little puppy.
My aunt would call him a stink pot!
